With Franchitti's win at this year's Rolex 24 At Daytona (with Scott Puett, Juan Pablo Montoya and Memo Rojas in the No. 01 TELMEX Chip Ganassi Racing car), one has to wonder if he might race for Grand-Am now that his team has been cut from NASCAR's Sprint Cup Series. How likely is this possibility?

With Dario still a contracted driver for Ganassi it's certainly possible he could show up in Chip's Rolex car.

I think it would be good to get Dario (or most any "star" type driver for that matter... besides, perhaps, Mr. Gentilozzi) in the mix - publicity and another known and respected name and face would most likely only benefit the series.  Shoot, I wouldn't mind seeing Ashley Judd back in the paddock either... would run into her from time to time back when Dario ran CHAMP or CART (or whatever it was called at the time) and IRL.  But, I only see this happening in 3+ driver endurance races OR if Ganassi runs a second entry... I don't think he will take Memo out of the car for it (isn't there a little connection of sorts between Memo and Felix Sabates?).

I'd like to see Dario driveing a DP.  Hopefully for a whole season+.
