Synergy Racing is starting to prepare two GT Porsche 997's for the 2009 Daytona 24hr race. In the past several years we have had the pole, some of the fastest race laps and excellent finishes, but have also had some bad luck with avoidable accidents. We are looking for qualified drivers that can afford the budget and also keep the car up front with a cool head. We have done packages in the past where 1 driver foots the bill for several pros, or 2 funded drivers each bring a pro driver along. Groups of European drivers are encouraged to participate in Daytona as a one-off event. We are not looking for a group of 4 first timers, we are looking for drivers that have done it before and are now ready to get on the podium. Our cars are fast, the crew is pleasant to work with, and our organization is eager to focus on this race. We are also interested in providing support to teams that own their own cars and want to benefit from our experience, setup and personnel on a cost plus basis, but we will not run 7 cars, that much I can promise you...

We would also like to provide support for the VIR and Watkins Glen 6hr race in 2009.
