 Hey Trevor,
Are all the races combined? I was trying to figure it out on the site but couldn't find the weekend schedules for each event.

Would be nice to see KONI come to the road course in Kent, WA (Pacific Raceways).  Now that's a technical track!  One of the best in North America.
Seattle already has every other sport on the planet -- and coupled to The Worst Traffic Network In The USA, no less. Howzaboot letting Portland have *something*, for once? :)

PIR is nice.  I'd just be excited to see how KONI's variety of cars handles such a technical track like Pacific Raceways.  That track really puts both driver and car to the test.

Ryan,
I'm assuming that most if not all races were combined. At least that was the rumor going around last year. It says in the release that GP3R will be combined.

Anybody the least bit concerned about a combined race at Three Rivers? At night no less. Don't get me wrong, nighttime will be awesome there but combined is a bit sketchy, fast ST cars will be tripping over slow GS cars.
.   and fast GS cars will be punting slower ST cars!

Sounds like a knife fight in the dark.  I like it!

Frankly, I don't see how PR is more technical than PIR -- both have dragstrip-length frontstraights; both have fiddly handling sections; both have back-sort-of-straights. The only real difference is that PIR runs clockwise, while PR runs counterclockwise.

The differences become more apparent when you consider the elevation changes and variety of turns at PR as compared to PIR.  Turns 2 and 3a/3b are remarkable.

Here's a dash vid that gives you some insight as to what I mean about elevation changes through out the course, whereas PIR is mostly flat.

...in truth I'm partly motivated by seeing the dramatics there, as it will put both car and driver to the test.

Watched the video -- I can see it's hillier; but I don't see it as any more, or less, demanding than PIR.

I suppose if all else fails, we *could* have a West Coast Swing and leave *California* in the lurch.... >:)

(Side Note: Does anyone know how the NASA racing org's rules compare with KONI Challenge? I think y'all can guess where I'm going with this.... :) )
