Here's what I'd like to see. Eight races in a 2.5hr format, one at 2.0 and one at 6.0. Have Trois Rivieres as a 2.0 and VIR as a 6.0. Again, it was done in the past (2006 and 2007 had similar schedules) and it gives a bit of variety to the series. The longer races usually brings in some other drivers that normally don't run in the series and some of them get interested in running a full season the following year.

Imagine if Rolex only had 2.5hr races. The Daytona 24 costs a fortune and the 6hrs at the Glen costs a pretty good penny. The money saved by reducing those races to 2.5hr would be huge.

I had heard some rumors that KONI Challenge was going to be at Sebring in 2010.  Has this been confirmed yet?

Word on the street is that it'll be in Naples. FL at the Florida Sports Park instead of Sebring.

Would be nice to see KONI come to the road course in Kent, WA (Pacific Raceways).  Now that's a technical track!  One of the best in North America.

BRG is back ! good to see you back in the 'game'  ...
Sebring is veery doubtful, way too many issues to overcome, in addition there is the     " never before the 12 Hours " mandate ...
but, i did hear a " well, what about on Sunday, the day after the Saturday 12 Hour, on March 21, 2010 " ? Practice on Sat morning, Qual on Sun morning, Race on Sunday afternoon. About 50,000 zombies will be crawling around in attendance

Otherwise, i'll go with JJ's rumor, must be in early March, run with the Swamp Buggy races, around the mile and something loop access road track that surrounds the 'Sippie hole', thousands of 'critters' come for the Swamp Buggy event , then there's thousands of KT's kinfolk (Maple leafs) 'refined fans', that jam the town at that time of year !  Could work ?

GA is going to issue a tech bulletin for that event. There's going to be a ride height maximum of 3'. So, the Challenger and Camaro seem to have a jump on all of us when it comes to getting the cars up in the air and having a big enough fender well to accomodate 33" mudders.

Seattle already has every other sport on the planet -- and coupled to The Worst Traffic Network In The USA, no less. Howzaboot letting Portland have *something*, for once? :)

Anybody the least bit concerned about a combined race at Three Rivers? At night no less. Don't get me wrong, nighttime will be awesome there but combined is a bit sketchy, fast ST cars will be tripping over slow GS cars.
