How is camping in a RV at the 24 hour race? What is the best spot in the infield? How hard is it to get in and get set up. Do they have Sites with hook ups? Thanks for any input.

umm camping in the speedwya is fun regardless. but if you have an rv id recommend camping in the horseshoes. i believe there is a early entry at a specific gate for rvs. the prices range up to about 700 bucks i think. you can get the info on daytona speedway website. or call the ticket office.im pretty sure there about 4 diff spots for an rv from outside turn 1 to inside at the horseshoes. that being the best spot. be forewarned you will have a lot of "traffic" coming and going by you in the infiled.

Contact Cruise America if you need to rent an RV and need a spot. They just inked a deal with DIS to market internationally and can help with locals as well. Winter rates are attractive.

The best spot for RV is the Horseshoe. Getting in is easy through the tunnel on Williamson Blvd. You need to reserve a spot in advance. Lake Lloyd has electric water and cable. If you plan on entering the track Saturday morning plan on long slow moving lines. Thursday and Friday easy days. You can get prices from the Daytona Speedway web page under Fan Info/Camping.

How long do yellow & red spots usually last? I'm trying to convince a couple people to go but still working on it.
