Welcome sports car racing fans!
This is the first rendition of the Grand-Am Community, an online social network built specifically for sports car racing fans. If you've been around Grand-Am.com for awhile and have an existing forum account, your details have been imported into the new system. Use the sign-in box to the right or the link at the top to sign in. In some cases passwords were encrypted and unable to be imported, so use the Forgot Password link to request a Reset Password email. If you're new to Grand-Am.com, sign up and join in the fun!
Once you're in, you'll notice that we have greatly expanded the functionality. The following tutorial will guide you through the community.
BLOGS
For the initial version of the Grand-Am Community, only Racers and Grand-Am Staff will be able to post blogs. All users can comment on a blog, however, in the hopes that it will enable open dialogue between drivers, staff and fans.
FORUMS
The expanded forums now offer users a WYSIWYG (What-You-See-Is-What-You-Get) editor. Hyperlinks, Emoticons, and Image embedding functionalities are also back in mix.
USER GALLERIES
The user gallery functionality is the one component that we expect you to enjoy the most. You're now able to post your own photos, videos and audio clips for other fans to check out and rate. These are grouped by "Experiences" so that you can group various files together for others to sort through. As we move forward, we will begin coordinating contests based on user submissions for ticket and merchandise giveaways.
