Well another great effort by the entire team at Farnbacher-Loles.  The count now stands at three wins in a row and four in the last five races.  One thing is for sure, when you're on a roll like this, you want the season to last forever.   Quite a few of our competitors are having a tough go - and believe me, I've been there and know how it feels.

Temps were soaring at Daytona but that didn't seem to bother the Mazda which gave us a heck of a run - but Dirk was able to hold off Sylvin for the win.  Lars, Bob and the team have just simply been "Nailing it" on the setup.   I am so happy to be with this group of talented people.

Barber will be the toughest race of the year for all the teams. Dirk and I will have our work cut out for us holding off the Pontiacs and the always strong Mazdas while dealing with insane cockpit temps. At Barber, the drivers work extremely hard since there are no long straights but plenty of turns! I grew up in Georgia and live in Charleston, South Carolina so I'm accustom to the southern heat and humidity. I encourage you to attend this great race at this beautiful facility in Birmingham!    It's the Augusta National of race tracks - it even looks like a golf course.   Hopefully we'll celebrate another podium Sunday afternoon!

Leh congrats on a great season so far.

The 07 really had a tough day at Daytona. As the race started it looked like they had a horse to beat, Kelly Collins passed four cars on the first two laps. Until of course when they got 86'D.  The announcers said that the 86 car hit the apron and came up into the 07.  LOL  That was an all out punt if I've ever seen one. It wouldn't have been so bad if they hadn't lost the windshield in the incident and lost a lap.  Team orders or just a racing incident? ;)

Just a Fan!
